On June 23rd, we invite you to celebrate the magical Līgo Night by the sea at Baltic Beach Hotel & SPA — with live music, traditional midsummer rituals, a festive dinner at restaurant “Il Sole”, and dancing by the Baltic Sea until sunrise.

15:00 – 18:00 | Crafts Market, Wreath Making & Midsummer Traditions

To experience authentic Latvian midsummer traditions and enjoy the festive seaside atmosphere, guests are invited to the Baltic Beach Hotel & SPA courtyard, where throughout the day you will enjoy:

A crafts market featuring handmade goods by local artisans,
Traditional wreath-making workshops,
Masterclasses in making traditional Jāņi cheese,
Workshops for creating traditional sauna whisks,
Latvian music and a true summer solstice atmosphere,
Craft beer, Līgo snacks, and shashlik fresh from the grill!

19:00 – 22:00 | FESTA DEL SOLE

As the evening continues, guests are invited to enjoy a special festive dinner at restaurant “Il Sole”, where the cosy seaside terrace will offer Italian grill dishes with Latvian seasonal accents — combining fresh local ingredients, summer flavours, and the elegant atmosphere of a midsummer celebration by the sea.

The musical atmosphere of the evening will be created by Ineta Rudzite with a live music program featuring both beloved Latvian melodies and well-known international songs.

22:00 – 02:00 | Bonfire Lighting Ritual, Live Music & Līgo Night by the Sea

At 22:00, together with a folklore ensemble "Mare" , the traditional Līgo bonfire lighting ritual will take place on the beach — one of the most symbolic and memorable moments of the evening by the sea. The glow of the bonfire, traditional Latvian midsummer songs, and the seaside atmosphere will create a special sense of togetherness and allow guests to experience the authentic magic of Līgo Night on the shores of the Baltic Sea.

After the ceremony, guests are invited to continue the evening on the beach with an atmospheric DJ set, dancing by the sea, and the unique energy of the Līgo celebration, carrying the magic of the night well into the late hours.

Reserve a table with the best view of the Līgo bonfire and sunset at our beachfront restaurant Beach Bar & Grill and enjoy a special Līgo festive offer featuring delicious dishes, summer cocktails, and refreshing drinks right by the sea.

To secure a table reservation at Beach Bar & Grill, a reservation fee of EUR 25 per person applies. The reservation includes premium access to the bonfire area and a welcome drink upon arrival. Admission is free for children up to 4 years old, while children up to 12 years old receive a 50% discount. Our youngest guests will enjoy a special children’s menu, as well as a kids’ club with creative activities and a festive atmosphere throughout the day. Children’s club fee — 12 EUR per hour.
